Don't look back now!

So it's actually Friday, the day we set sail to Land's End to get ready to start tomorrow! I think it's finally hit me that we're going to be cycling the UK...especially seeing as its been raining heavily for the past 12 hours! Up until this point its just been a cool thought in my mind 'wicked, cycling the UK, that'll be a laugh'...now the worries start to kick in. Will the bikes hold out, have i done enough training, are we gonna get lost, can i actually do this?!?! Obviously once the feet are clipped in and the wheels are in motion all the worries will go away, but until we start i think i'll just have to asure myself that we're as ready as we can be! Nick seems to be pretty laid back about the whole thing (sometimes he's practically horizontal!), i wonder if it's hit him yet?

I think I'm just keen to get in the saddle now and start peddling out the miles. I've been told the first couple of days coming out of Cornwall are pretty tough so there'll be no easing into the cycle by any means! Just keep the fingers crossed for good weather!

Right, time to pack...I'll hopefully throw in another update by close of play tomorrow.

Ian
